Floral Assistant

Floral Assistants support the preparation, design, and execution of Bomu floral arrangements and installations. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to grow their skills in floral design and event production.

As we prepare for a busy fall 2026 season, we are especially seeking applicants with open weekday and weeknight availability for floral preparation, production, and event installations. Weekend availability is also valuable.

Responsibilities may include:

• Processing and conditioning fresh flowers

• Preparing containers, mechanics, tools, and supplies

• Assisting with arrangements and large-scale floral installations

• Supporting event setup, styling, transitions, and breakdown

• Participating in floral meetings and contributing to the creative process

• Helping ensure each design reflects Bomu’s aesthetic and attention to detail

• Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workspace

• Assisting with floral inventory and supply organization

• Supporting floral pickups, deliveries, and transportation

Previous floral experience is helpful but not required. Training is provided based on experience and understanding of the role. Floral Assistants will have opportunities to learn foundational floral techniques, studio operations, installation methods, and the overall process of bringing an event design to life.

Team members work as independent contractors under Bomu LLC and are selected on an event-by-event basis according to availability, experience, and fit. Many members of our team continue working with us long-term, but this opportunity can also be seasonal for those interested in supporting our fall schedule.
